Frank Martinez

Frank moved to North Texas in 1992. Although born in Houston, Frank attended school in England, South Texas and Southern California.  He attributes having grown up in such different cultures with his appreciation for local culture and the unique sense of community each area offers. 

Early in his career, Frank started recruiting physicians for one of the country's largest healthcare systems.  As the Director of Marketing & Business Development and later in the Executive Development Program, physician recruitment, coordination of site visits, contracting and clinic start up were major responsibilities of his.  

Since  2011, Frank has worked in several capacities at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.  During that time, his daughter attended Highland Park High School (HP) and he and his family were involved in activities at school, at Highland Park United Methodist Church and with numerous local non-profits.  They enjoyed cheering her on at club volleyball games, at Dallas Mustangs swim meets, at Dallas United Crew events, and HP softball and football games, where she was a member of the Highlander Marching Band.  She recently graduated from HP and is now a student at Texas A&M.

Frank is involved with several local organizations, including the World Affairs Council, The Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance, and previously served on a number of boards including the United Way, YMCA, Chamber of Commerce, Planning & Zoning Commission and an Economic Development Council.  He is a frequent patron of the Dallas Arts District, local fitness clubs and is an avid runner on Katy Trail.  Frank has attended and remains involved at both UTD and SMU.
